有閒 ū-îng

有閒 ū-îng is an iOS app made by chantil, an independent developer (“I” or “me” below). It turns your calendar into an image that shows only when you’re free or busy. This Privacy Policy explains what data 有閒 ū-îng handles, why, and how you can control it.

Summary

  • 有閒 ū-îng needs no sign-up and has no accounts.
  • Your calendar is read only on your device to work out when you’re free. It is not uploaded or stored.
  • The image you make shows only dates and free and busy times — never event titles, locations, notes or attendees.
  • 有閒 ū-îng has no ads and doesn’t track you. It collects only anonymous usage statistics through TelemetryDeck, with none of your calendar data.

1. Calendars

Once you allow it, 有閒 ū-îng reads:

  • Your list of calendars (names and colors), so you can pick which ones to use
  • The start and end times of events in the calendars you picked, within the date range you chose
  • The status needed to decide whether an event counts as busy: whether it’s set to Free, whether it’s cancelled, and whether you declined the invitation

This data is used only on your device to work out when you’re free. It isn’t stored and isn’t sent to me or any third party. 有閒 ū-îng never adds, edits or deletes events.

iOS only lets apps read existing events with Full Access, which is why 有閒 ū-îng asks for it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings › 有閒 ū-îng › Calendars.

2. Photos

有閒 ū-îng saves an image to Photos only when you choose Save Image from the share sheet. It asks for add-only access and cannot read your photos.

3. Settings stored on your device

Your choices (which calendars to use, your usual hours, hours set differently for certain days, the image style, and whether to remove the 有閒 branding), along with whether you’ve bought 有閒+, are stored on your device so you don’t have to pick them again. Deleting the app removes them.

These settings themselves are never sent to me or any third party.

4. Sharing

An image leaves your device only when you tap Share and pick where it goes (for example, Messages or LINE). Once sent, it is handled by that app or service under its own privacy policy.

5. Buying 有閒+

有閒+ is a one-time in-app purchase made through the App Store. Apple handles payment, billing and receipts, and I never receive your payment details or Apple Account information. 有閒 ū-îng only checks with the App Store, on your device, whether you own 有閒+ so it can unlock those features.

6. Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how people use 有閒 ū-îng and decide what to improve next, the app collects anonymous usage statistics through TelemetryDeck, such as which features are used, how often the app is used, and basic device and system details.

The statistics never include event details or any other calendar data, or where you share images. Each record carries only an anonymous identifier that can’t be traced back to you and isn’t used to track you across other apps or websites.

7. Diagnostics provided by Apple

If you turn on Share With App Developers in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with me to help fix problems. This data is collected and processed by Apple. I can’t identify individual users from it, and it doesn’t include your calendar content.

8. What I don’t do

  • Ask for your name, email, phone number or anything else that directly identifies you
  • Add, edit or delete your events
  • Show ads or track you across other apps or websites
  • Sell, rent or trade your data

9. Children’s privacy

有閒 ū-îng is a scheduling tool for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your rights

Because I don’t keep any personal data that identifies you, there is usually nothing for me to provide, correct or delete. You can delete the app at any time to remove all settings from your device. If you’ve emailed me, you can ask me to delete our correspondence.
